Scouting doesn’t just offer opportunities for young people - Adults too get a great deal out of Scouting.

If you are 18 to 25 and still want to enjoy your Scouting you can by joining the Scout Network. As a Scout Network Member you get to take part in all the usual great Scouting activities such as kayaking, climbing, orienteering etc, as well as helping to work on projects helping to support you local community.

Network can also help young adults to continue to work on and  complete their Scouting and Duke of Edinburgh awards.

You can also, if you choose, get more closely involved in working with the younger Sections and providing them with the same kind of opportunities you've had through Scouting.

The Scout Fellowship has played an important role in The Scout Association for over 30 years and has consisted of members over the age of 25.

In 2010, the Scout Fellowship re-branded itself to become Scout Active Support, and has continued in the tradition of Scout Fellowship.

The revised name and brand describes the service that the Fellowship offers today much more accurately - a dynamic and practical support framework for local Scouting.

· Scout Active Support is a great way for adults to provide support to local Scouting.

· Scout Active Support is a great way for adults to volunteer in a flexible way that suits them.

· Scout Active Support is a resource that Group Scout Leaders, District Commissioners and County Commissioners are extremely grateful to be able to use in whichever way is required.

The ways that Scout Active Support can aid Scouting is endless and the members are a very valuable support team to local Scouting.

Our nearest Scout Fellowship is operated from Basingstoke West Scout District and they may be contacted via fellowship@basingstokewestscouts.org.uk

Please contact our District Commissioner, and be part of it!
